What is an Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm
when vessel diameter in > than 3cm or focal dilation or 1.5 x normal size
Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm > 5cm or rapid rate of expansion have
increased risk of rupture
Aneurysm:
1.5 x normal diameter of vessel
CIA arise at what vertabre
L4
CIA are what measurement in trans:
< 3cm
internal Iliac A supplies
blood to pelvis
external iliac artery travels
down groin and becomes femoral artery
when Iliacs are > 3cm it is considered for
surgical repair
