Service Entrance Cable (SE & USE)

Cables designed for the point where electricity enters a building.

Non-metallic Sheathed Cable (NM)

Also called Romex, used for indoor, dry locations, protected with paper insulation and a thermoplastic jacket.

Underground Feeder (UF)

Cable used for both outdoor and indoor applications, suitable for damp or wet locations, and buried directly in the ground.

Flexible Armored Cable (AC)

Also known as BX or Greenfield Cable, used in both exposed and concealed work.

Metal Clad Cable (MC)

Factory assembled cable with two or more insulated conductors, used for service feeders in concealed or exposed applications.
