I will exalt You

כִּי

דִלִּיתָנִי

You have drawn me up

וְלֹא

and not

שִׂמַּחְתָּ

did You let rejoice

אֹיְבַי

my enemies

לִי

to me / for me

אֱלֹהָי

my God

שִׁוַּעְתִּי

I cried out

אֵלֶיךָ

to You

וַתִּרְפָּאֵנִי

and You healed me

הֶעֱלִיתָ

You brought up

מִן

from

שְׁאוֹל

the grave

נַפְשִׁי

my soul

חִיִּיתַנִי

You gave me life

מִיָּרְדִי

from those going down

בוֹר

to the pit

זַמְּרוּ

sing

לַיהוָה

to Hashem

חֲסִידָיו

His pious ones

וְהוֹדוּ

and give thanks

לְזֵכֶר

to the remembrance of

קָדְשׁוֹ

His holiness

רֶגַע

a moment

בְּאַפּוֹ

in His anger

חַיִּים

life

בִּרְצוֹנוֹ

in His favor

בָּעֶרֶב

in the evening

יָלִין

may endure

בֶּכִי

weeping

וְלַבֹּקֶר

and in the morning

רִנָּה

singing

וַאֲנִי

and I

אָמַרְתִּי

I said

בְשַׁלְוִי

in my tranquility

בַּל

never

אֶמּוֹט

shall I be moved

לְעוֹלָם

forever

בִּרְצוֹנְךָ

by Your favor

הֶעֱמַדְתָּה

You set

לְהַרְרִי

my mountain

עֹז

strength

הִסְתַּרְתָּ

You hid

פָנֶיךָ

Your face

הָיִיתִי

I was

נִבְהָל

terrified

אֶקְרָא

I call

וְאֶל

and to

אֲדֹנָי

my Lord

אֶתְחַנָּן

I plead

מַה

what

בֶּצַע

profit

בְּדָמִי

in my blood

בְּרִדְתִּי

when I go down

אֶל

to

שָׁחַת

the pit

הֲיוֹדְךָ

will dust thank You

עָפָר

dust

הֲיַגִּיד

will it declare

אֲמִתֶּךָ

Your truth

שְׁמַע

hear

וְחָנֵּנִי

and be gracious to me

הֱיֵה

עֹזֵר

a helper

הָפַכְתָּ

You turned

מִסְפְּדִי

my mourning

לְמָחוֹל

to dancing

פִּתַּחְתָּ

You undid

שַׂקִּי

my sackcloth

וַתְּאַזְּרֵנִי

and girded me

שִׂמְחָה

with joy

לְמַעַן

so that

יְזַמֶּר

I will sing to You
