The reasons were that the age of exploration was made possible by the tools that were used and they were improved, which helped the sellers get their quicker

They could get all kinds of diseases that could lead to death and spread on to other people

The Columbian exchange was when people from the old world would bring new ideas to the New World, and there were exchanges of plants, animals, humans, and even diseases

Effects of the Colombian exchange is that there is less biodiversity on the globe and there are new plants and the devastation on indigenous populations and cultures
