Primary Source

A source produced when an event was happening. People involved in the event, such as government groups or leaders, usually create them.

Secondary Source

A source made using a primary source as its main information.

National Archives of the Philippines (NAP)

An office that saves and organizes old documents about the nation's history. It helps keep Philippine culture and identity alive.

National Library of the Philippines (NLP)

The official national library of the country. It is overseen by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA).

National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP)

A government group that promotes the country's history and culture. It does this through research, sharing information, saving old items, managing historical places, and creating national symbols.

National Museum of the Philippines

A museum that collects old and cultural items, like ancient findings and famous artworks. It does this to save these items and teach people about the national identity.
