second stage of mitosis

* nuclear membrane is gone
* chromosones line uo at equator of cell
* spindle fibers attach to centometers

Anaphase

third phase of mitosis

* shortest phase
* the spindle fibers contract casuing centometers to split
* chromosomes are pulles to either side of the cell

Telophase

fourth phase of mitosis

* chromomsomes lengthen and form chromatin
* nuclear membranes reform around each clump of chromatin
* mitisis is complete
* the cell begins to split- different for animls and plants
