3D Viewport
The main area in Blender where you see and manipulate your 3D models.
Tool Shelf
A panel on the left that contains various tools and options relevant to your current task.
Properties Panel
Located on the right, displays settings and options related to the selected object or tool.
Outliner
A panel that lists all the objects, collections, and other data in your scene, useful for managing complex projects.
Timeline
A panel used for animation that allows you to control the timing and sequence of actions in your scene.
Header
The top bar in Blender containing menus, scene settings, and rendering options.
Rotate
To change the view by holding the Middle Mouse Button (MMB) and dragging.
Pan
To move the view around by holding down MMB + Shift and dragging.
Zoom
To move closer or further away from the scene using the Mouse Wheel or MMB + Alt.
3D Cursor
A crucial tool for placing objects and manipulating the scene, moved by clicking in the 3D viewport.
Selection
The process of highlighting an object in the 3D viewport by clicking on it.
Shift + A
A keyboard shortcut to open the 'Add' menu in Blender.
Save As
The function found in File menu that lets you save your work to a specified location and name.
Grab
A fundamental transformation tool used to move objects in Blender.
Rotate Tool
The tool used to change the orientation of an object in Blender, activated by pressing the R key.
Scale Tool
The tool used to resize an object in Blender, activated by pressing the S key.
Shading Options
Settings in Blender that determine how light and color appear on objects.
Navigator Widget
A tool in Blender that helps control visualization and navigation in the 3D View.
Active Window
The window where your mouse cursor is, which receives commands when using shortcuts.
Select Border Tool
A tool used to select multiple objects in Blender, activated using the B key.
Backface Culling
An option in Blender that hides any face viewed from the backside.
Perspective vs. Orthogonal
Different projection modes in Blender affecting how 3D models are viewed.
Camera View
A view in Blender that allows you to see the scene from the perspective of the active camera.
