What do Communists believe in?

A political.economic ideology that calls for the public ownership of “the means of productions” as well as land and natural resources

In The Communist Manifesto Karl Marx describes communism as the next logical step in human evolution and in it there would be “a dictatorship of the proletariat” (the working class)

He argued that there would be a revolution. Many people calling themselves communists have argued that the dictator is a person who has the best interests of the proletariat at heart and runs a “command economy”. The goal of the system is that communists = is to achieve a kind of equality

Believe that there should be no government at all. Anarcho-syndicalists believe that workers should run factories and people should have direct democracy in their communities.

A political economic system that seeks to reinforce what is believed to be natural inequality. Fascists believe in a police/military state that needs a strong male leader to enforce religious values. They seek to rid society of racial/ethnic minorities, queer people, people with special needs, religious minorities, and immigrants.

Believe in a near stateless society run by a free market with some enforcement of property rights. Individuals and businesses are free to do anything.

They believe that the government has a responsibility to guarantee social and economic rights including a single payer healthcare system (the government pays all health costs), free pre-k through grad school; family leave and childcare; food.

The wealthiest people will pay a higher top tax rate than people in free market societies.

Believe in a capitalist society in which the government is an active partner that sets rules to protect low income people with welfare programs that offer things like food stamps, minority groups (through anti-discrimination laws), children (free quality non-religious education and financial aid for college).

Support deficit spending to finance social welfare programs, a strong military, border security, and police

What do Religious Right conservatives believe in?

Evangelical Protestants who believe that there should be more school choice through a voucher system that would pay for private religious schools. They generally want to ban abortion. They do not generally believe that it should be illegal to discriminate against LGBTQ+ people. They tend to be against government sponsored health care for transgender people and even against parents providing gender transition support for their children.

They are socially liberal; They tend to believe that the government only creates problems when it gets involved in the economy.

They generally believe people should be free to live their lives how they see fit (pro choice, neutral towards LGBTQ+, the government should not outlaw discrimination but not discriminate against them)
