Factors of Fertility

Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH)

important for menstrual cycle+ production of eggs, and is found on pituitary gland

Oestrogen

important for puberty, pregnancy+ bone strength, and found in ovaries

Testosterone

regulates sex drive+ bone strength+ makes sperm, and found in ovaries and testes

Prostaglandin

important for conception, luteolytic, mensuration + parturition, found in all cells prominently tissue and organs

Luitenising Hormone

stimulates follicular growth+ ovulation+ supports pregnancy, found in pituitary gland

Oxytocin

important for child birth, breastfeeding, trust and sexual arousal
