flexes neck; rotates head

flexes and rotates vertebral column

Extension
increases the angle of a joint

Rotation
movement of a bone around its longitudinal axis

Abduction
Movement away from the midline of the body; to "take away"

Adduction
Movement toward the midline of the body

Circumduction
the circular movement at the far end of a limb

Pronation
turning the palm downward

Supination
turning the palm upward

Inversion
Turning the sole of the foot inward

Eversion
turning the sole of the foot outward
