defining families

two or more persons, who are atleast 15 years of age, who are related by blood, marriage, adoption, step or fostering

blended family

a unit where one or both parents have children from previous realtionship, and have combined into a new family

childless family

include two adults who do not have children. may be married or not married

communal family

is a group of families / individuals, related or unrelated who are living together and sharing resources

de facto

consists of two partners of the same or opposite sex, who are living together and not legally married. they may or may not have children

extended family

described as atleast one core family plus atleast one relative living in the same house.

foster family

children and young people, through no fault of their own, cannot live with their own parents or family.

a husband and wife and their offspring

responsible for town planning, public librares, water and sewage, waste removal.

state organisation is responsible for

policing, public schools, roads and traffic, public hospitals and public housing.

national organisation is responsible for

national matters like quarintine, immigration, defence, telecommunication and income tax.

global organisation is responsible for

global needs such as basic human rights through internal agencies such as united nations and the world health orgaisation
