Electrons in PSI move to:
Ferredoxin > Cytochrome b6f > back to PSI
Sole purpose is to pump protins to Lumen
Creates proton gradient
Only peoduces ATP
Importance
There is a difference in need between NADPH and ATP
9:6 ratio for them in Calvin cycle
More ATP is requires than NADPH
If on,y Non-cyclic flow occured, an over-abundance of NADPH would be created
