C-shaped larave that is creamy white with a dark head with well developed legs.

Adults are metallic green with coppery brown white tips

One year life cycle (4-8 weeks)

Female lay 40-60 eggs in moist soil (2-3 inches down in soil)

Larvae feed on plant roots and are sensitive to soil drying, reaching full size by September and pupate in spring

Adults emerge in June-August
