President's Cabinet
A group of appointed officials who head executive departments and advise the President.
Executive Branch
The part of government responsible for implementing and enforcing laws, led by the President.
POTUS
An acronym for 'President of the United States.'
Vice President
The second-highest executive officer of the government, assisting the President.
Secretaries
Heads of the executive departments who are part of the President's Cabinet.
Designated Survivor
A Cabinet member who is absent from significant events to ensure continuity of leadership in case of a disaster.
Senate Approval
The process by which all senior Cabinet appointments must be confirmed by the Senate.
Scapegoat
