2. Setup ALS procedures under the the direction of a paramedic.

3. Transport pt w/ one or more of the rx med devices

a. NG tube

b. OG tube

c. GTube

d. Saline/heparin lock

e. Foley catheter

f. Tracheostomy tube

g. VAD

h. Surgical drains

I. Medication patches

k. Indwelling vascular lines

i. PVAD

ii. PICC

Monitor IV infusions with additives adjusted to a keep open rate (TKO)

Folic acid

Multi vitamins (MVI)

Magnesium sulfate (only in conjunction with MVI)

Thiamine

Monitor intravenous infusions with additives at a preset rate via infusion pump

Potassium chloride 20mEq/1000mL

Total prenatal nutrition (TPN)

Transport patient with specialized pump

Any prescribed medication with a automated or patient operated or medication pump.

Any prescribed pain medication via a patient controlled analgesia (PCA) pump.
