Drawings that pictorially provide the overall building layout, shape, and dimensions to set out, including site plans, floor plans, and sections.
Construction or Structural Drawings
Drawings that provide the specific details required for the construction stage, showing how building components relate to one another.
Component Drawings
Drawings that provide information needed for the production and installation of components, including sizes and performance data.
Assembly Drawings
Drawings that provide detail of building connections and junctions between various members and components.
AHD (Australian Height Datum)
The national vertical datum used for measuring elevation, such as flood levels and site RLs.
RL (Relative Level)
A height or level of a point on a site relative to a known datum, such as RL 5.95 for minimum flood levels.
FFL (Finished Floor Level)
The height of the floor surface after all finishes have been applied, measured in millimeters or to AHD.
FGL (Finished Ground Level)
The final level of the ground around a building after landscaping and drainage works are completed.
