What was indentured servitude?
One would get a wealthy individual to pay for the journey to the new world, and in return, would work for them for a finite amount of time before transitioning into society seamlessly
Why did indentured servitude end?

Describe Plymouth
The separatists or the Pilgrims settled here to escape the corrupt Church of England. 102 came over on the Mayflower, but only 44 survived the first winter. The Puritans settled here and aimed to be an example for the other colonies of how to live Christian lives. They established a meritocracy (what you contribute determines your place in society) and were very well educated to read and dissect the bible.
