What are word processors?
Software applications designed for the creation, editing, and formatting of text documents.
What is the document creation function in word processing?
Typing text onto a blank page and saving it electronically for easy retrieval and modification.
What does editing involve in a word processor?
Making changes to text, such as inserting, deleting, or rearranging words, sentences, and paragraphs.
What does formatting allow users to customize in a document?
The appearance of text, including font selection, size, style, color, layout adjustments, and the addition of tables, graphs, and images.
What is a style in Microsoft Word?
A set of formatting choices that makes your document more consistent.
What is a theme in Microsoft Word?
An option to coordinate your colors, fonts, and graphic formatting effects.
What is the main function of section breaks?
To break down sections into chapters and add formatting such as columns, headers and footers, and page borders to each.
What does a Next Page section break do?
Inserts a section break and starts the new section on the next page.
What does a Continuous section break do?
Inserts a section break and starts the new section on the same page.
What does an Even Page section break do?
Inserts a section break and starts the new section on the next even-numbered page.
What does an Odd Page section break do?

An automatic function to insert sequential numbers in the pages of a document.
What is Multimedia Integration?
The combination of text, images, audios, videos, and other forms of media in a single platform.
What are Shapes in word processing?
Printable objects or materials that can be used to enhance appearance or serve as tools for composing and representing ideas or messages.
What are Icons in word processing?
Simple images that can be inserted into a document to enhance its appearance.
What is SmartArt?
Predefined sets of different shapes grouped together to form ideas that are organizational or structural in nature.
What is the function of a Chart in a document?
Allows you to represent data characteristics and trends.
What is the purpose of Microsoft Word's built-in accessibility checker?
To make sure that the document is easy-to-read.
What does the Color and contrast accessibility feature check for?
The difference in light and color between a foreground element and its background.
What does the Media and Illustrations accessibility feature check for?
A short, written description of an image.
What is co-authoring or real-time collaboration?
When a document is shared and multiple people can work on editing it all at once.
Where can the Protect Document option be found?
Under the File tab.
What does the 'Always Open Read-Only' security setting do?
Prevents accidental changes by asking readers to opt-in to editing.
What does the 'Add a Digital Signature' option do for document security?
Ensures the integrity of the digital document by adding an invisible digital signature.
