It is half two in the morning. Kurt comes from the school. He eats his candy and drinks his still water. His phone rings.

 Es ist halb zwei am Morgen (Es ist halb tsvai am Mor-gen.) Kurt kommt aus der Schule. (Kurt komst ous der Shoo-le.) Er isst ein Bonbon und trinkt sein stilles Wasser.(Er isst ain Bon-bon oond trinkt zine shtill-es Vas-ser.) Sein Handy klingelt.(Zine Hen-dee klin-gelt.)

Kurt eats his candy and drinks his still water. he makes a pause

 Kurt isst sein Bonbon und trinkt sein stilles Wasser. (Kurt isst zine Bon-bon oond trinkt zine shtill-es Vas-ser.) Er macht eine Pause.(Er makht ai-nuh Pow-zeh.)

He goes to his room. No dog. He thinks

Er geht in sein Zimmer.(Er geit in zine Tsim-mer.)  Kein Hund.(Kine Hoomd.) Er denkt.(Er dehntk.)

He calls

Er ruft.(Er roo-ft.)

He says

er sagt

The candy is rotton. Kurt does not like rotten candy. He is looking for the animals

 Das Bonbon ist verfault.(Das Bon-bon ist fer-fowlt) Kurt mag keine verfaulten Bonbons.(Kurt mahk ki-neh fer-fowl-ten Bon-bons.) Er sucht die Tiere.(Er zoogt dee Tee-reh.)

He calls

 Er ruft.(Er roo-ft.)

No answer. He goes in the garden and….

 Keine Antwort.(Kine-uh Ant-vort) Er geht in den Garten und…( Er geit in den Gar-ten oond…)
