Sampling Distribution

Range of values that describe the location of a population parameter

Confidence Interval

Range estimator that describes the location of a population parameter a stated percentage of the time.

margin of error

the range of percentage points in which the sample accurately reflects the population

Student's t-distribution

a set of distributions that, although symmetrical and bell-shaped, are not normally distributed

Number of independent values in a statistical calculation.
