What is effective communication beyond being able to talk?
It is the ability to listen and understand others, to "read" and interpret body language, and to know the best ways to get points across.
How is listening defined in terms of its role and nature in communication?
Listening is an integral part of the communication process and a process in itself. It is complex and active, rather than simple or passive.
When is active listening evident?
Active listening is evident when one remembers, repeats, paraphrases, or responds accurately and appropriately.

It is a list of principles that you should ensure all your communications adhere to.

Physical, Psychological, Physiological, and Semantic.
What is physical noise and what are examples of it?
Noise coming from the environment, such as a distracting visual aid, unbearable weather, or extraneous noises.
What is psychological noise and what are examples of it?
Noise originating from the emotional state, mental state, and psychological makeup of a person, such as depression, anger, or suspicions.
What is physiological noise and what are examples of it?
Bodily conditions that compromise a person's ability to send or receive messages, such as hunger or headache.
What is semantic noise and what are examples of it?
Anything related to the meaning of words that distorts or masks a message and confuses the listener, such as a speaker's use of a foreign language, a listener's limited vocabulary, or differing interpretations of word meanings.

Effective communication begins with mutual respect, communication that inspires, and encourages others to do their best.
