Indigenous Worldviews

Relationality

Research methodologies that emphasize descriptive data and the subjective experiences and perspectives of participants, often used in Indigenous research.
Community Well-being
The ultimate goal of Indigenous research, which involves benefiting Indigenous communities and empowering them through the research process.
Decolonial Knowledge
Knowledge systems and practices that challenge and disrupt colonial perspectives and seek to honor Indigenous ways of knowing.
Traditional Territory
The historical lands inhabited by Indigenous peoples, recognized in research and policies to respect their rights and heritage.
