This all gets blood to the back of the shoulder

Axillary Artery (3)
Becomes axillary a. when passes over 1st rib •
3 sections (divided by pectoralis minor m.)
1st section: 1 artery
2nd section: 2 arteries
3rd section: 3 arteries

Thoraco-acromial a. (PAC-D)
This artery supplies the bones and muscles

Basically 2 Pathways in which blood can join different pathways in the scapular. (Goes backwards up an artery to go up the main source)
Suprascapular a.(Subclavian a. -> Thyrocervical trunk) to -> Circumflex scapular a. (• Axillary a. -> 3rd part -> Subscapular trunk)
Dorsal scapular a. (Subclavian a. -> Thyrocervical trunk) to -> Thoracodorsal a. (• Axillary a. -> 3rd part -> Subscapular trunk)

Brachial Artery (First Branch Off)
First branch off brachial a. is profunda brachii a.
Travels to posterior humerus and descends in radial (spiral) groove with radial n.
AKA Super Deep

Forearm / Hand Blood Flow
Radial a. and Ulnar a. continue down the forearm toward the hand, at which point they branch.
• In the hand, there are arterial arches (3):
1. Superficial palmar arch (primarily from ulnar a.)
2. Deep palmar arch (primarily from raDial a.)
3. Dorsal carpal arch (primarily from raDial a.)

Arches give off digital branches to the fingers

Veins in Respect to Arteries
As they bring de-oxygenated blood back to the heart
ALL the Arteries mentioned have a parallel vein with the opposite function

Three Superficial Veins We need to know
1) Cephalic Vein (Lateral)
2) Basilic Vein (Medial)
3) Median Cubital Vein (Connects the 2, Also the vein you get blood drawn from)
