Admitting to the validity of the other side

Refutation

Acknowledging your opponent’s argument (counterargument) then challenging

Allegory

Longish story, the element of which (characters, setting, etc) contribute to commentary on politics, society, morality, etc.

A short allegory (they teach morals)
