The Augean Stables
King Augeus had filthy stables filled with dung, promised Heracles cattle if cleaned, Heracles diverted rivers to clean, Augeus refused to pay, Heracles returned with an army and killed Augeus.
Stymphalian Birds
Birds with sharp beaks, metallic feathers, and poisonous dung, devoured humans and cattle, Heracles used bronze castanets from Athena to kill them with arrows.
The Cretan Bull
Heracles captured the bull Minos wouldn't sacrifice, wrestled and rode it into the water, released it, and it was eventually killed by Theseus in Marathon.
The Mares of Diomedes
King Diomedes had man-eating horses, Heracles tamed them by feeding Diomedes to them, horses ran to Mount Olympus and were eaten by wolves.
The Girdle of Hippolyta
Heracles strangled Hippolyta for her girdle, given by Ares, after Hera incited the Amazons to attack him.
The Cattle of Geryon
Heracles killed the monster Geryon, his giant herdsman, and the two-headed dog Orthus, set up the Pillars of Hercules, and traveled back to Greece.
Journey to The Apples of Hesperides
Heracles asked Atlas to get the golden apples, held up the heavens while Atlas plucked them, tricked Atlas to take back the heavens, and returned to Greece with the apples.
Cerberus
Three-headed hound of Hades, Heracles captured it without weapons, protected by a lion's hide, and released it back to the underworld.

Prophecy: no living man could kill Heracles, would die at the hands of the dead.
Heracles married Deianira, returning home from wedding they had to cross a river.
Nessus (centaur) carried Deianira on his back, half-way he assaulted Deianira.
Heracles shot him with a poison arrow.
Nessus dies, tells Deianira to collect his blood & semen, as a powerful love potion.
Death of Hercules
Heracles went to war, killed a king and took his daughter.
Deianira put the potion on the cloak as she was jealous of the captured daughter.
Heracles put on the shirt and screamed in anguish, dying.
Heracles dragged himself to a mountain and set himself up on a funeral pyre
Philoctetes happened by and agreed to light it.
Heracles gave Philoctetes his bow, which was helpful in the Trojan War.
Heracles ascended to heaven to Zeus and married Hebe, “Youth”.
