this continent is the largest and has the largest population; Russia, India, and China contribute to the size and population
Australia
originally inhabitated by the Alborigines, this country lies in the southern hemisphere and is the world’s smallest continent
Europe
although identified as a separate continent, because it is one landmass with Asia it is sometimes referred to as “Eurasia”; geographically divided into western (France, Spain) and eastern (Turkey, Ukraine)
North America
Earth’s 3rd largest continent that includes the United States and countries sometimes referred to as Central America as well as Caribbean-island nations
