Do you like taking photos?
Yes, absolutely. I’d say photography is more than just a hobby for me — it’s a creative outlet. I enjoy capturing the moment, especially ordinary scenes that people often overlook. From my perspective, taking photos helps me slow down and notice details I’d normally miss to the naked eye.
What do you usually take photos of?
To be more specific, I’m really into street photography. I like framing a shot around daily life — people commuting, street vendors, or quiet corners of the city. What stands out to me is how these simple moments can turn into visual storytelling when the composition is done well.
Do you prefer taking photos with your phone or a camera?
In contrast to the past, I mostly use my phone now because it’s convenient. That said, I still prefer a camera when I want more control over the depth of field and lighting conditions. So it really depends on whether I’m taking quick snapshots or intentionally creating something more atmospheric or for aesthetic appeal.
Describe a photo you took that you are proud of.
You should say:
when you took it
what the photo was about
why you took it
and explain why you are proud of it
I’d like to talk about a photo I took about a year ago while travelling to a coastal town. The photo captured a fisherman standing alone by the shore early in the morning.
What made this photo special was the lighting conditions. The sunlight was just beginning to break through the clouds, creating a soft and atmospheric mood. I carefully framed the shot, placing the fisherman slightly off-centre using the rule of thirds, which gave the image a strong sense of balance.
I took this photo because the moment felt incredibly peaceful. From behind the lens, I could sense a story of quiet resilience and routine. To be more specific, the photo wasn’t just visually pleasing — it managed to evoke emotion.
I’m particularly proud of it because it feels timeless. Even now, when I look at it, it reminds me that photography is a form of self-expression and visual storytelling, rather than simply pressing a button.

I’d like to describe a photo I took during a family gathering last year, on a special occasion when all of my relatives managed to come together.
The photo shows my extended family sitting around a dining table, laughing and talking while sharing a meal. What makes it meaningful is that moments like this don’t happen very often anymore, as everyone is usually busy with work or study.
What I particularly like about this photo is the warm and atmospheric feeling it captures. The lighting was soft and natural, and although the photo wasn’t perfectly staged, it felt very genuine. To be more specific, I didn’t focus too much on technical aspects — instead, I tried to capture the moment as it naturally unfolded.
I took this photo because I wanted to preserve a sense of togetherness. From my perspective, photography isn’t always about perfect composition, but about evoking emotion. Whenever I look at this image, it reminds me of the importance of family bonds.
I’m proud of this photo because it feels timeless. Even years from now, it will still reflect warmth, connection, and a shared sense of belonging, which makes it far more meaningful than any carefully planned shot.
Why do people enjoy photography so much nowadays?
From my perspective, photography allows people to document their lives and express themselves at the same time. With smartphones and social media, it’s become much easier to share moments instantly. Moreover, photos with strong aesthetic appeal can help people feel seen and appreciated, which is increasingly important in today’s digital society.
How has social media influenced photography?
Without a doubt, social media has changed photography significantly. On the one hand, it encourages creativity and visual storytelling. On the other hand, it places too much emphasis on aesthetic appeal, sometimes at the expense of authenticity. In contrast to traditional photography, modern images are often taken to impress others rather than to capture the moment.
Do you think photography can influence how people see the world?
Absolutely. Photography can shape public opinion by highlighting issues that might otherwise go unnoticed. A powerful image can reveal details invisible to the naked eye and evoke emotion instantly. In many cases, photography encourages empathy by allowing viewers to see the world from another perspective.
Do you like taking photos of yourself?
Of course I think I'd have to say that I'm really into taking selfies. This could be because it's a fun way to capture memories and showcase my style. As well as this, exploring different angles and lighting is interesting.
Would you prefer using a camera or a mobile phone to take a photo?
Well to be honest I suppose that it would depend on the situation. For casual snapshots and quick sharing, my phone is definitely more convenient. It's always handy and the camera quality has greatly improved. Nevertheless, for professional shots or specific photography tasks, a dedicated camera is preferable.
Do you have a favorite photo?
Well, in all honesty a photo of my mom and me in Thailand is my favorite. We're both smiling and look so happy. The photo captures the incredible bond we share and reminds me of the amazing memories we made on that trip. It's a treasure to me.
Are you better at taking photos of landscapes or people?
Well to be honest I think I'm more skilled at photographing landscapes. I find it incredibly rewarding to capture the beauty of nature. There's something truly magical about framing a perfect shot of breathtaking scenery. While I enjoy photographing people as well, I often find it challenging to capture the perfect moment and ensure everyone looks their best.
