Element

A pure substance that consists of only one type of atom, cannot be broken down into simpler substances by chemical means, and is represented by a unique chemical symbol. 

Molecule

A group of atoms bonded together, representing the smallest fundamental unit of a chemical compound.

Basic particle from which all elements are made of.

Describes its ability to change into different substances.

Physical Property

A characteristic of a substance that can be observed or measured without changing its chemical composition.

Substances formed when two or more different atoms bond together chemically.
