types of in role response form + detail if relevant:

  • letter (most common) - say writing a letter, dear xyz, best wishes from role. etc.

  • interview: write out each question in full (no additions), then write the response

  • article vs newspaper report: article is livelier, report is dry

  • formal report: dry

  • speech/talk: write with listeners in mind. sound human, think about who the audience is
