Standard Form

Writing the number (e.g., 3,459).

Expanded Notation/Form

Writing the value of each digit (e.g., 3000 + 400 + 50 + 9).

Round to the largest place value.

Quadrilateral

A shape with 4 sides and 4 angles.

Trapezoid

4 sides with one pair of parallel sides.

Parallelogram

4 sides with two pairs of parallel sides.

Rhombus

4 equal sides with two pairs of parallel sides.

Rectangle

4 right angles and opposite sides of equal length.

Square

4 right angles and 4 equal sides.

Parallel Lines

Lines that never cross.

Equilateral/Acute Triangle

A triangle with 3 equal sides and angles.

Scalene/Obtuse Triangle

A triangle with no equal sides or angles.

Perpendicular Lines

A line that makes a right angle to another line.

Isosceles/Acute Triangle

A triangle with 2 equal sides and angles.
