Confidentiality
Ensures information is only accessible to authorized users.
Integrity

Availability
Ensures systems are accessible to authorized users when needed.
Authenticity
Ensures data is genuine and confirms user identity.
Non-repudiation
Guarantees sender cannot deny sending a message, and recipient cannot deny receiving it.
Passive Attacks
Intercept and monitor network traffic without altering data.
Active Attacks
Modify data in transit or disrupt communication to breach secured systems.
Close-in Attacks
