Function: Secretion and Absorption, Location: Kidney tubles, ducts of glands, ovary surface

Simple Columnar Epithelium

Function: Protection from abrasion, Location: Esophagus, mouth

Transitional Epithelium

function: Stretches and allows uniary organs to expand, Location: Urinary bladder,ureters, part of urethra

Areolar Connective tissue

Function: Wraps and cushions organs; holds tissue fluid, Location: Under epihelia, around organs

Adipose Tissue

Function: Stores energy, insulates and protects organs, Location: Under the skin, around kidneys and eyes

Reticular Connective Tissue

function:supports white blood cells and other cells, Location: Lymph nodes,spleen,bone marrow

Dense Regular Connective Tissue

Fucntion: Attactches muscle to bones and holds structure together, Location: Tendons, ligaments

Elastic Connective tissue

function: allows tissues to stretch and recoil, Location: walls of large arterties, some liagements

Function: Supports and reinforces;resists compression, Location: Costal cartilage, ends of long bone,nose,trachea
