Beleid

A umbrella concept referring to policy, framework agreements, planning, procedures, and regulations at both the facility level (meso-level) and macroeconomic orthopedagogical level (macro-level).

Domeinspecifieke leerresultaten (DLR's)

Official specific competencies for bachelor graduates in Orthopedagogy established by Flemish bachelor programs at the request of the Flemish government.

Structureel probleem

A client-transcending issue caused by meso- and macro-level decisions or regulations that cannot be solved solely through micro-level guidance of the client and client system.

Signaleren

Constructively informing responsible individuals and authorities at the meso- or macro-level about negative impacts of policy on clients.

Missie

The reason for existence (bestaansgrond) of a facility, defining its core mandate, target group, and identity, which usually remains unchanged.
