Self-regulation
The ability to monitor and manage your energy states, emotions, thoughts, and behaviors.
Competent
Having the necessary ability, knowledge, or skill to do something successfully.
Peer
A person of the same age, status, or ability as another specified person.
Provision
The action of providing or supplying something for use.
Manipulate
To handle, control or use something in a skillful manner.
Know-how
Practical knowledge or skill; expertise.
Emerge
To become apparent, important, or prominent.
Compensate for
To make up for something unwelcome or unpleasant by exerting an opposite force or effect.
Metacognition
Awareness and understanding of one's own thought processes.
Succinctly
In a brief and clearly expressed manner.
Conversely
Introducing a statement or idea which reverses one that has just been made or referred to.
Diminish
Make or become less.
Autonomy
The right or condition of self-government; freedom from external control or influence.
Spoon-feeding
Providing someone with so much help or information that they do not need to think for themselves.
Deprived areas
Places lacking the necessities of life, such as adequate food, money, or housing.
Domain
A specified sphere of activity or knowledge.
Expertise
Expert skill or knowledge in a particular field.
Facilitate
Make (an action or process) easy or easier.
Inhibit
Hinder, restrain, or prevent (an action or process).
In harness
In the normal routine of working, or working together to achieve a specific purpose efficiently.
Channel their feelings
To direct emotions towards a particular end or object.
