US Written Date Format
Formatted as Month + Day (for example, March 7).
UK Written Date Format
Formatted as Day + Month (for example, 7th March).
US Numeric Date Format
Formatted as Month / Day / Year (for example, 3/7/17).
UK Numeric Date Format
Formatted as Day / Month / Year (for example, 7/3/17).
Standard Rule for Pronouncing Years
Years are normally divided into two parts (for example, 1984 is pronounced 'nineteen eighty-four').
Rule for Pronouncing Years 2001–2009
Pronounced as 'two thousand and one', 'two thousand and two', etc.
Spoken English Dates Rule
Even if the -th suffix is not written in a date (such as March 7), an ordinal number is still spoken ('March seventh').
Monday
The 1st day of the week, pronounced 'mandei' (Spanish: lunes).
Tuesday
