Foreshadowing
When an author gives hints about what will occur later in a story.
Genre
The major category into which a literary work fits, such as prose, poetry, or drama.

Imagery
Words that create a picture in the reader's mind, involving the five senses.
Invective

Dramatic Irony
When the audience knows something that the character does not.
Situational Irony
A plot twist where the outcome is contrary to what was expected, often humorous.
