MAIN: M- Militarism: Countries like Germany and Britain were building big armies and weapons. A- Alliances: Countries made teams to help each other if war started. I- Imperialism: Countries were fighting to take land in Africa, Asia, and Southeast Europe. N- Nationalism: Some groups in Southeast Europe wanted their own freedom. They were willing to fight for freedom.
