Apply an Anti-Embolic (Compression) stocking to one leg

Denture care - clean upper or lower denture
Put on gloves

Position a dependent resident resident in bed on their side
Direct the RN test observer to stand on the side of the bed opposite the working side or raise the side rail opposite the working side of the bed to provide safety
Transfer resident from their bed to a wheelchair using a gait belt

Vital signs - count and record residents radial pulse and respirations
