If Something is scientifically true, then there must be Specific evidence to prove it wrong.

Species used in a study

Control group

Consists of subjects Similiar to treatment group except they aren't taking / doing what the treatment group is

Treatment group

the group taking treatment/ doing the trial

Placebo

Substance w/ no phisiological effect (Ex. Sugar tablet)

Peer reviews

critical evaluation by other experts in that field

Fact

Info. that can be independently verified by any trained person

Law of nature

generalization abt the ways in which matter + energy behave

Theory

Explanatory statement or set of statements derived from facts, law, & confirmed hypothesis.
