Titration
A process used to determine the concentration of a solution by reacting it with a solution of known concentration.
NaOH
Sodium hydroxide, the concentration of which is being determined in this experiment.
HCl
Hydrochloric acid, a solution used to titrate the NaOH.
Fenolftaleïne
An indicator is used to detect the endpoint of the titration.
Buret
A piece of lab equipment used to measure the volume of liquid dispensed in a titration.
Erlenmeyer flask
A flask used to hold the solution being titrated.
Volumetric material
Equipment designed for accurate volume measurements, such as a buret, pipet, and volumetric flask.
M/V%
Mass/volume percentage, a way to express concentration.
