Opposition in the Congress
Workers Opposition,
breaking from the party in 1920. Headed by Alexandra Kollontai and Aleksandr Shylapnikov. Concerns over - Disliked Trotsk's's efforts to militarise the workplace - Trotsky's proposal to put worker unions under government control - Bourgeoise being hired to take control of factories - The Bolshevik's autocratic nature and bureaucratic nature (a big government that over sees anything like the Tsarist regime) - Concerned the party was dominated by self-serving officials and becoming too bureaucratic → concerned that party was dominated by self-serving officials.
Democratic Centralists - Concerned of the bureaucratis, arguing that the self-party debate and the democratic element of democratic centralism had been lost.
