  • finally late-stage infection

    • Distal symmetrical neuropathy

    • stocking glove distribution of paresthesia and sensory loss

Other presentation:

○ mononeuropathies, acute polyradiculoneuropathy, and asymmetrical distal neuropathies

● Meningitis MC neurologic abnormality

● Improvement in acute neurologic symptoms is fairly good. Antibiotics Treatment:

● Lyme disease with neuro involvement - IV ceftriaxone for 2-4 weeks
