Entry Step 1
Reduce power to 2500-3000 RPM
Entry Step 2
Increase back pressure to maintain altitude as airspeed decreases
Entry Step 3
Adjust trim to relieve control pressures
Entry Step 4
Maintain wings level (use rudder)
Entry Step 5
Increase back pressure until airspeed reaches 55 KIAS
Entry Step 6
Apply power to full and gradually increase back pressure to approx 20 degrees pitch up
Entry Step 7
Maintain coordination with rudder pedals
Entry Step 8
Recognize indication of full stall (buffet / mushy controls)

Verify max power (5800 RPM’s)
Recovery Step 3
Verify increasing airspeed
Recovery Step 4
Accelerate to 60 KIAS
Recovery Step 5
Pitch up to maintain VX: 60 KIAS
Recovery Step 6
Verify positive rate of climb (VSI in positives)
Recovery Step 7
Accelerate to VY: 75 KIAS
