When to use collagen dressing

• partial and or full thickness wound

• Can use if there is tunneling present

• Skin grafts and donor sites

• Chronic non healing wounds

• Granulating and necrotic tissue

Contraindications for collagen are DO NOT USE

Third degree burns

Any sensitivity to bovine, porcine or avian products

Dry eschar

Dry eschar and collagen dressings

dry eschar must be removed for the product to work
