Positive Feedback Loop

A process where the response enhances the initial response, an example being childbirth.

Endocrine System Pathway

A pathway for loops that is more general, uses chemical signals, operates at a slower speed, produces long term responses, and creates a stronger signal.

Nervous Pathway Only

A pathway represented by actions such as removing a hand from a hot surface, utilizing nerve (chemical/electrical) signals upon touching that fade away quickly.

Endocrine Only Pathway

A pathway represented by functions such as maintaining blood glucose levels via glands/cells releasing hormones into the bloodstream, or being stressed for a test.
