What is the economy?
The economy is the total wealth plus resources of a country

Manufacturing is the process of making products and large quantities using machines, factories and raw equipment

A trans national corporation is a large business that operates in a number of countries

The global fashion industry is the worldwide business of designing making and selling clothes in many countries
What is a sweat shop?
A sweatshirt a workplace where people work for long hours for very low and often and unsafe or unfair conditions
What is importing?
Importing is when goods are brought into one country from another country to be sold or used there
What is one positive of globalisation and one negative?
A positive of globalisation is that it can increase trade giving people more choice of goods a negative is that it can cause job losses when companies move production abroad.
What is one positive and negative of child labour?
One positive of child labour is that it can provide income for very poor families one negative is that it can harm children by stopping them from getting an education and it can harm them by exposing them to unsafe work conditions.
Why does child labour happen?
Child labour happened because in some places it seems normal as it might be a family tradition or because their family needs extra income to survive
What is globalisation?
Globalisation is the process where countries become more connected to trade communication and movement of good people and money

Primary can include examples of farming and fishing and secondary can include examples of manufacturing and construction
What is the difference between Arab and pastoral farming?
Arable farming grows crops whilst pastoral farming raises animals
What is the difference between revenue and profit?
Revenue is a total money earned from sales while profit is what is left after course are taken away from revenue.
