Neuroforaminal Narrowing
condition where the openings (foramina) between vertebrae shrink, compressing nerve roots. It causes pain, numbness, or weakness in the neck, back, or extremities. Treatments range from physical therapy, medication, and injections to surgery
Spinal Canal Stenosis
Narrowing of the spinal canal (C4-5 or C5-6) squeezes the nerve, can cause tingling, numbness and weakness
Hyperesthesia
increased sensitivity to stimulation that caused pain
Stenosis
Narrowing of the spinal space causing pressure on the spinal nerves
Spondylosis
degeneration of the spine's vertebrae and discs, essentially acting as spinal arthritis. It causes pain, stiffness, and sometimes nerve compression due to bone spurs, most commonly in the neck (cervical) or lower back (lumbar).
Hypertrophy
Growth in size (cells)
Radiculopathy
condition involving compressed nerve roots in the spine, causing radiating pain, numbness, tingling, or weakness in the arms or legs
Parasthesia
Tingling and numbness
Antalgic
Limp to alleviate pain
Kyphosis
Hunch Back, Rounding of the back
Crepitus
clicking and cracking sound associated with arthritis

Paralle to the spine
Musculature
Muscle Formation

Sedentary
No Physical activity
Flank
Part between upper abdomen and the back
Myalgia
Muscle pain
Neuritis
Inflammation of nerves
Peritoneal
Space between the Diaphragm
Myelopathy
Disease or disorder of the spine
Intractable
Pain not relieved by ordinary meduan surgery methods
radicular
pain radiating on a nerve, sciatica
Neuropathy
Nerve damage
Allodynia
Sensitivity to though
Dermatomal
Mapping designation to areas of the body
Ecchymosis
Small bruises larger than Petechia
Lordosis
Inward curvature of the L-Spine -because the nerves are compressed the patint will limp
Auricular
sense of hearing
Aura
A symptom before a headache
Disc Desiccation
Loss of disc fluid
Disco-genic
Derangement of the disc
arthropathy
