Agricultural tools
Commonly light and handy items needed in accomplishing farm activities.
Farm Implements
Accessories usually made of metals, pulled by draft animals or mounted on machineries, needed for land preparation.
Farm Equipment
Machineries used for land preparation and transportation of farm inputs and products that require a highly skilled operator.
Agricultural Materials
Natural or man-made items used in farming to support plant growth, improve soil quality, protect crops, and help in harvesting; these are consumed or used completely during production.
Crowbar
A metal bar with a flattened end, used for prying and leverage when digging in tough soil conditions.
Pick Mattock
A versatile tool with both a pointed and flat blade for breaking up hard soil and digging.
Grab hoe
A specialized hoe designed for pulling or grabbing soil and plant material while digging.
Spade
A flat-bladed tool with a sharp edge, ideal for cutting through soil and creating clean edges.
Shovel
A broad-bladed tool with a curved or flat shape for moving soil, gravel, and other materials.
Spading Fork
A fork with flat tines used for turning and aerating soil without excessive disruption.
Bolo (itak)
A large cutting tool similar to a machete, used for cutting vegetation and harvesting crops like rice and root vegetables.
Axe
A tool with a heavy metal blade for chopping wood and clearing land.
Pruning shear
Hand-held scissors used for pruning plants, cutting small branches, and precise cutting of fruits and vegetables.
Scythe
A long-curved blade attached to a handle, used for cutting grain crops and tall grasses.
Light hoe
A smaller, lighter version of a traditional hoe used for precision weeding and soil cultivation around plants.
Hand trowel
A small hand tool with a pointed, scoop-shaped blade used for digging in gardens, potting, and transplanting.
Hand fork
A small fork-like tool used for loosening soil, removing weeds, and mixing in fertilizer around plants.
Screwdrivers
Tools with a handle and various shaped tips used to turn screws with slotted, Phillips, or other shaped heads.
Chisel
A long-bladed hand tool with a beveled cutting edge used for carving and cutting hard materials like wood.
Weighing balance
A device used to measure the weight of agricultural products, seeds, and other farm materials.
Meter stick

Tape measure
A flexible ruler used to measure longer distances and curved surfaces in agricultural settings.
Ruler
A straight measuring tool typically 12inches or 30centimeters in length, used for smaller measurements.
Plow
A tool made of metal, wood, or both, pulled by draft animals for tilling wide areas, making furrows, and interrow cultivation.
Disc Plow
A kind of plow that uses large, round, concave steel discs.
Harrow
A tool pulled by draft animals or mounted to a tractor used for pulverizing the soil after plowing.
Disc Harrow
A harrow that uses round steel discs instead of teeth.
Rotavator
A modern harrow used for pulverizing the soils which is usually mounted to a tractor.
Hand Tractor
Equipment used to pull a plow and harrow in land preparation.
Four-Wheel Tractor
Equipment used to pull a disc plow and disc harrow in the land preparation of a bigger area of land.
Waterpump
Equipment used to draw water from a source for irrigating the field.
Axial Thresher
Equipment that helps separate the seeds from the stalks.
Combine Harvester
A machine that combines six farm operations: gathering, transporting, reaping, threshing, cleaning, and bagging crops.
Seeder
Equipment used for sowing corn seeds and rice seedlings/pre-germinated seeds directly in the paddy field.
Corn Dehusker
Equipment used for peeling the skin of the corn and for removing maize from the cob.
Rice Miller
Equipment used to remove the husk and the bran layers to produce an edible white rice.
Pesticides and Herbicides
Agricultural materials such as insect sprays and weed killers used to protect plants from pests and weeds.
Storage Materials
Items such as sacks, storage bins, and silos that help keep harvest safe and fresh.
