continuos training - one exercise at sub max intensity for atleast 20 min, long distance interval training- continous training with breaks, farklet training- continous training with higher intensity bursts, high intensity interval training (HIIT) continous type of exercise at a very high intensity with some breaks set of 6/7 min

to increase aerobic power (maximal rate of energy production using the aerobic system

increased size and strength of the left ventricle of the heart- this leads to improved contractibilty of the heart allowing more blood to be pumed around the body
what is one way aerobic training improves the respiratory system
increased lung volume size- this means more air comes into the lungs, resulting in more oxygen being avalible for delivery and consumption to the muscles.
