Mnemonic for V1

Red (V1) - 'Right' starts with R.

V2 Lead Placement

4th intercostal space, Left sternal border.

Mnemonic for V2

Yellow (V2) - Right next to V1.

V4 Lead Placement

5th intercostal space, mid-clavicular line.

Mnemonic for V4

Blue (V4) - 'point' of the heart.

V3 Lead Placement

Directly between V2 and V4.

Mnemonic for V3

Green (3) - Just fills the gap.

V5 Lead Placement

5th intercostal space, anterior axillary line.

Orange (V5) - Level with V4, but further left.

V6 Lead Placement

5th intercostal space, mid-axillary line.
